Hi!!! I'm Ms. Jackson and I'm so glad to be your teacher this year. This is my fifteenth year teaching in the Colonial School District. Just to share with you a little about myself. I was a military brat as a child so I grew up in different parts of the United States. I am from New York but I have lived in Virginia, North Carolina and California as well. I went to Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Inclusive Elementary Education and Special Education with a minor in American History as well as a Masters of Science in Early Childhood Special Education. I have a second masters from Wilmington University and now have a Master's of Education in School Counseling. I have a fifteen year old son that means the world to me so don't be surprised if your student comes home talking about him. My hobbies are traveling, reading, going to the beach, playing basketball and listening to music. I have been to 47 of 50 states, Antigua, St. Kitts and Nevis, Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Guatemala and Canada. I not only like playing basketball but I love watching NCAA and NBA basketball as well as NFL football. My favorite teams are the Syracuse Orange, New York Knicks and the New York Giants. My favorite color is blue and I love Mexican food. Those are just a few things about myself and I look forward to learning more about you all as well.
